KSC (NIS2) Compliance Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for a compliance consultant specializing in the Polish National Cybersecurity System Act (KSC) and the NIS2 Directive to deliver implementation and audit projects for our clients. Project-based B2B collaboration.

Growing demand from essential and important entities, as well as public sector organizations, requires us to strengthen our team in this area.

Responsibilities

• Conducting gap analyses against KSC / NIS2 requirements
• Developing and implementing Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)
• Creating security policies, procedures, and documentation
• Preparing organizations for compliance audits
• Conducting compliance audits (KSC, NIS2, KRI)
• Delivering security awareness training and workshops for client staff
• Supporting clients in incident reporting and CSIRT communication
• Collaborating with technical teams on implementing recommendations

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in GRC, compliance, or information security
• Practical knowledge of the Polish KSC Act and NIS2 Directive
• Experience in ISMS implementation or compliance management systems
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 22301 (or equivalent standards)
• Experience in creating security documentation (policies, procedures, guidelines)
• Ability to conduct gap analyses and risk assessments
• Communication skills — working with boards, IT, and business teams
• Independence in project management

Nice to Have

• Certifications: ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor, CISM, CISA, CRISC
• Experience with DORA (financial sector)
• Knowledge of KRI (public sector)
• Experience in energy, financial, healthcare, or critical infrastructure sectors
• Supply chain security audit experience
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, CIS Controls
