FAQ

How is it different from Veeam? Storware supports more platforms (Proxmox, OpenStack), has simpler licensing and lower price. Veeam has larger ecosystem and brand recognition.

Does it support Proxmox? Yes. Storware is one of few enterprise backup solutions with native Proxmox VE support.

How does Kubernetes backup work? Storware backs up namespaces, PersistentVolumes, ConfigMaps, Secrets. Restore to same or different cluster.

Can I migrate from Veeam? Yes. Veeam backup import not possible, but you can run in parallel and gradually move workloads.

What is the license? Per socket (for virtual environments) or per VM. M365 licensed per user. No additional feature fees.
