Phishing Simulations

91% of cyberattacks start with phishing. One-time trainings have limited effectiveness — employees forget within weeks. Our simulations deliver measurable data: what percentage of employees will click, which departments are most vulnerable and how awareness changes over time.

What are phishing simulations?

Phishing simulations are controlled email attacks conducted on an organization's employees to measure their phishing resilience. We send realistic phishing messages — tailored to the industry, role and organizational context — and measure who opens the message, clicks the link, submits credentials or downloads an attachment. Result: a measurable resilience indicator and an improvement plan.

What are phishing simulations?

Phishing simulations are controlled email attacks conducted on an organization’s employees to measure their phishing resilience. We send realistic phishing messages — tailored to the industry, role and organizational context — and measure who opens, clicks, submits credentials or downloads an attachment.

AttributeValue
ScenariosEmail, spear phishing, credential harvesting, QR code
MetricsOpen rate, click rate, credential submit, report rate
BenchmarkClick rate 15-25% → after training <5%
Campaign duration5-14 days

Phishing remains the most effective attack vector — it’s cheap, scalable and bypasses technical controls, targeting people directly.

Training without testing is hope, not strategy

One-time cybersecurity trainings have limited effectiveness — employees forget about threats within weeks. Without simulations, an organization doesn’t know what percentage of employees will click on phishing — whether it’s 3% (good) or 30% (critical).

Without phishing simulations:

  • You don’t know your employees’ actual resilience level
  • You don’t know which departments are most vulnerable
  • Training isn’t measurable — you have no awareness KPIs
  • The training effect fades after 4-6 weeks
  • You don’t meet NIS2/DORA awareness testing requirements

Realistic scenarios with full tracking

We design phishing scenarios realistic for the client’s industry. We configure the platform, deliver campaigns in waves, track metrics in real-time. After each campaign we deliver a report with analysis and recommendations.

What you get:

  • Campaign report: delivery rate, open rate, click rate, credential submit — per scenario and department
  • Metrics dashboard: result visualization with industry benchmarks
  • Department/team analysis: identification of most vulnerable groups
  • High-risk user list: for priority training
  • Awareness recommendations: topics, formats, frequency, target groups
  • Educational materials: infographic or presentation for post-campaign distribution
  • Summary meeting: results presentation with scenario demonstration

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Phishing Simulations.

Will employees know it's a simulation?

The campaign is confidential — employees are not forewarned. After the campaign we recommend disclosing aggregate results (without naming individuals) as an educational element. Individual results are shared only with decision-makers.

Won't this hurt employee morale?

A well-conducted simulation is an educational tool, not punishment. We recommend messaging like 'we're testing systems, not people' and providing educational materials after the campaign. Companies with regular simulations see higher security engagement.

What scenarios do you use?

Scenarios tailored to the client's industry: fake invoices, HR notifications (vacation, raises), executive requests, security alerts, system updates, QR code phishing. In Advanced and Enterprise packages: vishing (phone) and smishing (SMS).

What's the industry average?

Benchmarks: click rate 15-25% (without training), credential submit 5-10%, report rate 10-20%. After 4 campaigns, click rate drops to 3-5%. We provide industry comparison in the report.

How often should we run simulations?

We recommend quarterly campaigns to maintain awareness. Monthly for high-risk organizations (finance, healthcare, critical infrastructure). A single campaign is a good start, but the training effect fades after 4-6 weeks.
