What is Instant Recovery? Starting VM directly from backup in minutes, without restore. VM runs from backup repository, data migrates to production in background.

How does ransomware protection work? Immutable backups (Hardened Linux Repository or Object Lock in S3/Azure). Backup cannot be encrypted or deleted. Plus inline malware scan detects infections.

What storage for backup? Recommended: Scale-out Backup Repository with performance tier (disk) + capacity tier (object storage S3/Azure for archive).
